TUI is launching all-inclusive river cruises for 2022 on adults-only ship

TUI has revealed that it will be offering all-inclusive river cruises on board one of its new adults-only ships, TUI Maya.

The packages will be available on the ship’s summer 2022 itineraries, and will include a selection of drinks including draught beer, branded spirits and aperitifs, cocktails, soft drinks and Lavazza coffee.

The travel firm said that TUI Maya ‘s sailings will be all inclusive a standard.

The ship is one of three new river cruise ships for the brand – her sister ships are TUI Isla and TUI Skyla. All three will sail on various itineraries along iconic rivers such as the Rhine and the Danube.

TUI has said the ships will be “stylish and comfortable floating boutique hotels”, with each one offering seven cabin types and two restaurants, as well as a cocktail bar. (We’ve got a sneak peek inside the ships if you want to see what’s on offer).

For summer 2022 there will be extra itineraries on offer including a Legends of the Rhine itinerary – including an August sailing with a stop to see the spectacular fireworks display in Koblenz – as well as a Treasures of the Main sailing which explores Bavaria’s biggest cities.

Passengers can also opt for ‘Little Extras’ at £35 extra per cabin, which offers perks such as priority check-in, a small group ship tour, welcome prosecco and chocolates, a personalised card from the captain, one continental breakfast in bed and a late cabin check-out.

The summer 2022 itineraries for all three ships and TUI Maya’s all-inclusive packages go on sale on the TUI website from Thursday 5th November 2020.

Chris Hackney, Managing Director of Cruise at TUI, said: “We’re pleased to be able to share details of our summer 2022 programme and we are really excited to offer our first all-inclusive ship in our river cruise line.

“We have something to offer everyone as we have itineraries visiting some of the best places in the world.

“Our river cruise line is constantly developing and we’re always listening to what our customers want and we want to offer even more choice when it comes to booking their cruise. With a high percentage of guests already booking All Inclusive, it only seemed right we created a ship dedicated to the board basis, so we know it’s something our customers will love”
