This Brand New Las Vegas Resort Is The First To Be Built From The Ground Up In Over Four Decades

Circa Resort & Casino has this week announced it will officially open its doors by December of this year. The 1.25 million square-foot, adults-only property is slated to be the first resort-casino to be built from the ground up in over forty years.

Paying homage to Vegas’ Golden-Era through vintage design, old-school hospitality, and various nods to the city’s history, the downtown resort will also introduce high-tech advancements, cutting-edge amenities, and other modern offerings to make visitors as comfortable as possible, including an impressive variety on onsite bars, luxury lounges, and restaurants.

“For the past five years, the Circa team and our partners have been devoted to introducing a resort and casino experience that brings something totally new to Vegas, and in some cases, the country,” said Circa Developer and CEO Derek Stevens. “I will be the first to admit that 2020 has not been easy, but this talented group persevered and has delivered on this vision, 8 weeks early. I’m incredibly proud to be putting 1,500 people to work and that our doors are finally open for all to visit Circa.”

Aside from its unique build story, the property will also set a new record as the world’s largest sportsbook. Circa Sports will be the resort’s centerpiece, boasting an eye-popping 78-million-pixel, high definition screen that will be capable of playing up to 19 games at once. The three-storey stadium-style venue will be helmed by the country’s top betting experts and will feature a viewing capacity of up to 1,000 fans at a given time.

The 777-room hotel tower and rooftop lounge, dubbed Legacy Club, will officially open its doors to guests and travelers on December 28, 2020, which will mark the official completion of the ambitious project.
