South Carolina announces latest COVID-19 update (October 31, 2020)

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) announced 831 new confirmed cases and 52 new probable cases of COVID-19, 36 additional confirmed deaths and 5 new probable deaths.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 167,885, probable cases to 8,727, confirmed deaths to 3,686, and 249 probable deaths.

Testing in South Carolina

As of Friday, a total of 1,993,561 tests have been conducted in the state. See a detailed breakdown of tests in South Carolina on the Data and Projections webpage.

Percent PositiveThe total number of individual test results reported to DHEC Friday statewide was 6,097 (not including antibody tests) and the percent positive was 13.6%.
