When South Alabama hits the road Thursday, Oct. 29, for its game against Georgia Southern, it will be the first road game for the Jags since Sept. 3. The game will be live streamed on on fuboTV.
The game will be the first of two for the Jags to Sun Belt East Division members with a visit to Coastal Carolina scheduled next week.
Not since 2015 have the Jaguars won multiple road games, so a win Thursday will go a long way. It won’t be easy.
In the six previous games between the two teams, Georgia Southern has outscored South Alabama 227-62 (37.8-10.3). In fact, the Jaguars have only scored six touchdowns in the series.
Steve Campbell’s Jags, though, have gotten some explosive play on the offensive side of the ball. Kawaan Baker caught six passes for a career-best 154 yards and three touchdowns in South Alabama’s win over ULM. The senior was named the SBC co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Jalen Tolbert, meanwhile, was one of five individuals added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List this week.
The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. (7:30 p.m. ET) and will be live streamed on fuboTV, which offers a 7-day free trial. ESPN will televise the game.
