But that being said, travel is still doable in some parts of the world – and if you’re going to hop on a plane (which we know many surfers will), the below is intended to provide insights on how to do it safely.
Travel, throughout the modern era, has withstood numerous events and advancements that have altered the landscape for better or worse: from the Wright Brothers’ inventions, to the Hindenburg catastrophe, to intercontinental flights with relative ease, to 9/11 and the ensuing increases in security – just to name a few. And, according to the experts, COVID-19 will be yet another left turn on the travel industry’s flightpath
